We want to install theis modem into a different PC (as we use broadband in the PC it is currently in and also Windows XP)but would like to know if it can be used with Win 98 as that is what is in other PC.

You should have a driver disk you got with the modem and if you look on it you should be able to see if there are Win 98 drivers on it.

Whilst trying to find out whether anyone had replied to this posting hubby downloaded said drivers but couldn't make head nor tail of them. Since then we have located the mainboard disk and hey presto it has worked.
