PCMCIA card slot

I am confused!

I am taking delivery of a new TV. A Sony LCD type, KDL 32s2010 this has, it said in the instruction book a PCMCIA card slot. I think I could be barking up the wrong tree when it leads me to think this could be used in conjunction with a wireless LAN I have going at home. I was thinking about slide shows and video over the wireless network to the TV, is this possable? It would be fantastic if it was to work.

Go on then call me daft, but I would like to know.

I think you`ll find that it`s an internal card because I can`t see anywhere you could put an external one from the manual. It does have a 15 pin D-Sub connector for a PC Monitor and Audio input which leads me to that conclusion.

Thanks Taff

On the side at the back there is a cover to be removed for insertion of the PCMCIA card.

I will have another read of the instruction Manual

Could this not be used for networking then?
It would save me having to buy a laptop computer lol.
