PCI Slot Question

  Ex plorer 11:20 17 Oct 2005

Hi Couple a questions, I have just bought a BT Voyager 2100 With two BT Voyager PCI 1040 cards.
Now the PCI cards have a couple a slots in where the PCI slots only have one bridge I have 5 PCs and all PCI slots are the same (can I fit the cards). Hoping you OK it as I bought them from a shop whilst on me hols and both boxes have bin opend
I would like to connect three of my PCs with the RJ-45 cables but it means using an extended ADSL line from the BT socket just an old skin flint cos its cheaper than cards.
My independent modems work OK like this.

A better explanation might be a good start....

BT Voyager 1040 Card click here

5 Pci slots on this board click here

There are two places where contacts are missing in the card, but only one place on the PCI slot to acomodate.

Yes it'll fit.

I see what you mean now. The second notch closest to the aerial doesn't matter. Some have it some don't.

PCI slots and PCI cards conform to one standard and will fit.
