To install Unimodem V in Windows 95, follow these steps: Download the Unimodv.exe file to an empty folder. In My Computer or Windows Explorer, double-click the Unimodv.exe file to expand the files it contains. Use WordPad (or any text editor) to open the Readme.txt file that was expanded from the Unimodv.exe file in step 2. Read the Readme.txt file for complete installation instructions.

If you go to Add New Hardware in Control Panel, you can install a generic Driver, if you tell it to show all devices. the one to use is I think it's called something on the lines of Hayes Modem.
