PCI-Express Graphics card suitable for new TFT

Was mentioned in a build from a earler post but now I just realised if the card I choose originally one of two choices may be right for the job.

I have ordered a Samsung SM2494MH 24" HDMI/DVI/VGA TFT with specification of 5ms, 1920x1080

Will either of this be good with the TFT above a Sappihre HD 4850 512MB GDDR5 with HDMI or a HD 4890 1GB with HDMI can both give respectable results

I think you will find that neither graphics card will have any problems whatsoever coping with your monitor...:-)

Even my somewhat ancient ATi Radeon 9550 can handle it, although highly unlikely to prove of much use with more serious games you might be planning to run.

Not running games but want good office, web, video. I just read somewhere Card and matching the screen to the pixel size. Now for my next check.

Yes, the 9550 does that as well.

In fact I've even watched Sky HD on-line transmissions in all their glory when the service is (occasionally) free.

I just temporarily switch to a higher resolution from my 21in CRT monitor's usual 1152x864.
