Hello

PArt 2 of a now closed post about request for Which PSU. I require a PSU which has 2x 6 PCI Express Plugs/Molex connectors I notice PSU's are advertised with 1x 6 pin & 1x 8 Pin connector.

My question is as I need 2 6 Pin for the PCI Express Graphics Card can the 8 Pin be used as a 6 Pin so to give me the 2x 6 Pins connectors please.

Look no further - this quality Be Quiet 530W one has the 2x 6+2pin connectors you're looking for click here (£47).

If you add something small to your order (that you actually need or will make use of) for £3.24+ more, you'll be eligible for eBuyer's free delivery, which kicks in for most orders of £50 or over. G

This quality Antec 520W PSU click here (£57) has 3x PCI-E connectors, 2 of which are 6+2pin. G

think everyone missunderstood me, and I have found out the PCI Express pins have a detachable 2 pin to make it a 6 pin. Thanks Crossbow7 & northumbria61

6+2pin means exactly that :-) - 6pin + 2pin, latter of which is detachable.

If it was 2x eight-pin connectors, the specs would say 2x 8pin. G
