PCI-E wireless cards for vista

do they exist ? I have an Acer X1700 vith home basic vista, I want to fit a wireless card, but the expansion sockets are the newer PCI-E ( express ? ) and a little one. I am looking for a card that has a detatchable antenna as it has to be extended out to obtain a signal. Any Ideas ?

ambra4, thanks for that , sadly the chassis mounting plate is too long and the lug for the securing screw is 90 deg out ! to fit the Acer frame.

OK I have just had a look at a Acer X1700 with a Wireless Card installed it would appear that

the wireless card that fit into the slot below the video card is made specially for Acer so would

suggest you connect the company
