pc won't start

hi, my son pressed the sleep button on the keyboard and now my pc wont start up. the led light on the mobo is on and the psu fan and case fan twitch rather than move when i press the power button. is there something i can do eg on the mobo to get it to start again? or is my pc dead?

os is windows 7. iv presses the sleep button, cut all power, but it still wont start up. dead switch or psu maybe??

if the motherboard is still functioning
you can hold the power button for 3-5 seconds and the motherboard should force shutdown

Hard Drive as gone into Sleep Mode and will not wake up.
Turn off PC by holding in the Start Button, then after it starts By Pressing Start Go to Control Panel/Power Icon double click on it and set Hard Drive to Never turn off

have you (or your son) accidently actived the Lock mode click here. if so you will need to unlock it before you can take it out of sleep mode.
