PC Won't Boot Up

My 4 yr old pc at home won't boot up. I power up, the machine & read lights go on and the disc spins. I get a "No Signal" message on the screen.

Two weeks ago I had the same problem. I replaced the motherboard battery and everything was fine.

Is the battery being dead a symptom of something else.

I am poised holding a sledgehammer wondering if I should give the machine the big 'E' as it may not be financial sense to repair it if it is something lke the M/Board that is faulty.

Check the connection/cable from PC to monitor.

I would try another battery, you never know, you may have been unlucky enough to have replaced the dead one with a duff one....

Also check the mem sticks are properly in their slots. (and all the other cards and connections)

Just try reconnecting all the plugs. But it may be the PSU. and just maybe the old mobo it still OK
