PC will not stay suspended.

Unless I turn off my wireless router my PC will not stay suspended. My wife might be using the connection wirelessly so it is not always convenient to switch the router off.
XP will not let me deactivate the local connection.
It comes up with Error and not possible at this moment.
Is there some setting that will stop the PC from automatically coming out of suspension when the router is on ?

Look in Device Manager for the Network card. Right click, Properties, Power Management. Uncheck 'Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby'.
