pc will not boot up just bleeps

i took the battery out of my pc for about 48 hours then replaced it with a new one now my pc will not boot up at all . wot have i wiped and how do i put it back ?.

You might need to go into the BIOS and reset it to Default Settings.

What is the pattern of beeps?

the pc bleeps 7 or 8 times very quickly them there is a 5 second paws then it beep a further 3 times but nothink at all comes on the monitor it just stays blank .

Possibly, while you had the case apart to remove the battery you knocked the graphics card loose. Try taking it out and reseating it.

i have tryed removing the graphics card and refitting it still the same.

check your memory strips are in properly and haven't come loose.
