PC will not boot up

  amosdog 18:38 23 Feb 2005

Having just moved house, unpacked and reassembled my desktop computer but upon switching on it will not boot up. I can hear it trying the floppy drive but no video signal to monitor and after a few minutes the whole thing goes dead. System running Windows XP Pro with SP2 installed. AMD AthlonXP PR2400+, ATI Radeon 9500 RTL with 1Gb DDR.

Anybody any ideas?

Hi amosdog, remove the side & make sure all your ribbons r pushed right in,give them a good shove it doesn't take much to shake them out enough to stop u booting up..

Have checked all the lead and board connections and they seem OK
