Hi

Is this normal temp Hard Disk SAMSUNG HD103UJ : 27 °C

Is it normal for that HDD to be at 27c

After 2 games of commany of Heroes / a game?

1st turn on its 15c but gets to 24 / 27c in no time?

Is the drive ok not had it long..

since Oct 08


refromted twice ( due to issues with Vista) sorted now thamk god..

27°C for a hard drive is well inside it's operating limit (click here#). It will heat up quite quickly if it's not powered down by your power settings.

Doesn't look like you have anything to worry about to me.

Its fine, my western digitals run at nearly twice that everyday for the last 4 years.

I have the EXACT same hard drive.

It will operate at up to 60C (operating temperature) so nothing to worry about!
