PC Sometimes Shutting down

Every now and then my PC decides too Shut down, all the fans inside are working correctly as they should be, but taking an interest in the PSU its getting really warm, do you think its the PSU overheating?

I would tend to think something is overheating, but that said, computer normally freezes when it does. But as you say if it's the PSU it could be internal thermal shut down built into PSU

Its like I said I think its the PSU and feels quite hot, and all the inside fans CPU ect ect are working fine

What advice can someone offer me on this issue is it the PSU going mad again ?

If you could take the side of the comp put a desktop fan at the side see how it goes

I think its easy just too replace the PSU I think

It is. Four screws at the back top round the fan. If you are a bit unsure about connections swap them one by one before you put it in. You can also test it before fitting it but do make sure you connect every thing before you switch power on as the PSU as to have a load for it to work. And can be burned out if you just try it without anything connected to it.

So I would need too replace the actual PSU unit or the fan itself then ?

The PSU as a Fan built in

Yes I think its the PSU myself, its getting quite warm

Not only that, I rang evesham and they suggest its the location of my pc and where it is part of the back of the desk were its home is there needs too be a hole, so for the time being when I get that done I took the PC out made temp accomodation on the side of the desk
