PC Shuts Down After 2 Seconds

I have a PC which switches itself off after about 2 seconds.

I've tried resetting the CMOS and cleaning the CPU heatsink and fan of all dust but it still switches off after 2 seconds.

The usual startup screen appears but not long enough for me to press any button, such as DEL to try and go into the BIOS settings. Even if I did, I'm sure it would still switch off.

Any ideas please?

Try it in safe mode - keep pressing F8 during start-up.

Tried the F8 option - it still shuts down.

Sorted - it was the power supply.
I tried one out of another computer, and it worked fine.
