My Norton Internet Security suite is nearing expiry and I was wondering if I should upgrade it or remove it and try something that may be better.

What is the general consensus on the best software for firewall and anti-virus protection?

Nod32 the best Anti-Virus and Comodo free about the best Firewall.Nod 32 you have to pay for.AVG or Avast are free.

I now always use AVG or Avast anti virus (free versions

Zone alarm, or Spyware terminator (free ) also adaware. Free.

Had no problems.

Gave up norton a few years ago. It slowed things up too much, and was no better than free stuff

In a recent issue of PCA, I seem to remember that Kaspersky security software came out top of a survey.
