there is a known bug in Q811493 which causes slow downs.
You can find and delete it in add/remove programs

Of course you may have downloaded this manualy too, it doesn't matter which, just remove it.

hmm i looked in add remove but the thing you said q811493 is not in there sorry to say in away i wish it was it sounds an easy fix one lol

Another two possibles on this site, although Q811493 was the main one, try 330994 and 813489.

Also you might have lots of unnecesary things loading at start up.

Got to: start/run type msconfig and hit 'run'
look under the 'start up' tab and uncheck any programs that you don't need at start up, don't uncheck any anti virus programs of sys tray.

Can build up over time and I clean mine out every week.

Open internet explorer, go to tools, then internet options, delete cookies, delete files and all offline content.
You'll lose any saved passwords if you delete cookies but personally I think it's worth it since some of the cookies can be adware anyway.

i have got 330994 it says its out look expres update is that ok to go

You can always download it again if it doesn't help speed up your pc, restart your pc after removing it, before you try any speed tests.

them what you said what should i do about the 330994

  learner2003 19:45 26 May 2003

Surely 811493 can't STILL be buggy? This has been known on this site for some time. Will it ever be safe to download???
