Hi try system restore

Reinstall may not be the best option. Download and run Regseeker to clean any remaining Registry entries

Well theres your problem Baggy57 Norton is your worst knightmare!! Get rid of it

and go with:

AVG or Avast Antivirus
Zone Alarm Free Edtion from click here

Free Antispyware at

I recomend
AVG and Zone Alarm
Windows Defender

A-Squared Free 2.0 click here

Use CCleaner from click here
and Regscrup from click here

Update your Spyware and give those a scan and see what it finds, also try and defrag your hard drive.

Come back and let us know how you get on.

Try the Program in the threads above, it may work

Have you tried RESTORE

If your PC was running ok before you removed the programs then ignore the advice to remove Norton as it obviously is not the problem. Go with the advice to try system restore first and if that doesn't work try either regseeker or ccleaner to remove any bits of the programs that have been left behind as that may well be the problem.
Once you've tried that post back with the result.
