PC Reboots

I am using a PC with the following spec - athlon xp 3200, 1 gig of DDR RAM, asus k8vse deluxe board. Everything works quite well except when I load a PC game the system randomly shuts down - is this just driver error or could there be other things I should be investigating - I do not get in error messages under device drivers.

Thanks

Sorted,

go to control-panel/system/advanced/startup and recovery/settings, and untick the box that says "automatically restart"

This should now give you an error message, instead of re-booting, and lead hopefully to sorting your problem.

Could be overheating on the mobo or gfx-card , unstable drivers (non WHQL) or virus/trojan etc.

Joe R - did what you said and pc crashed but blue screen says IRQL-NOT-Less-or-EQUAL - do you not what this means?

Cheers
