PC Problem after installation... (Win 98)

Yesterday i installed 'Tropico', while that was installing an error came up and i clicked restart. Upon boot-up after the second BIOS screen a paragraph came up (with a beep sound from the tower):
ONE OR MORE OF YOUR DISK DRIVES MAY HAVE DEVELOPED BAD SECTORS
PRESS ANY KEY TO SCANDISK

So i went to scandisk and another error message comes up before even scanning:
SCANDISK CANNOT READ FROM THE LAST CLUSTER ON DRIVE C. THIS CLUSTER IS EITHER DAMAGED OR YOUR SYSTEM IS NOT CONFGIURED PROPERLY. DRIVE C MAY NEED TO HAVE LBA ENABLEDTO WORK PROPERLY, OR ITS DISK PARTITION MAY BE INCORRECTLY MARKED AS A NON-LBA PARTITION. DATA LOSS CAN OCCUR IF YOUR LBA SETTING OR DISK PARTITION TYPE FOR THIS DRIVE IS MISCONFIGURED.

If I clicked Continue it would normally scandisk...

If I clicked Stop however, it would continue without scandisking and come up with this new error:
THERE WAS AN ERROR RUNNING SCANDISK.EXE, OR IT WAS CANCELLED. RUN SCANDISK FOR WINDOWS, AS YOU MAY STILL HAVE ERRORS ON YOUR DISK(S).

I clicked continue and i get another error:
SECTOR NOT FOUND READING DRVIE C
ABORT, RETRY, IGNORE, FAIL?

Fail & Abort = Shut Down
Retry = Shows that error again...
Ignore = PC Hangs, loads soemthing, goes to desktop and another error comes up:
SYSTEM ERROR
WINDOWS CANNOT READ FROM DRIVE C:
IF THIS IS A NETWORK DRIVE, MAKE SURE THE NETWORK IS WORKING.
IF IT IS A LOCAL DRIVE, CHECK THE DISK.

Before i can click on anything it freezes.

Oh when scandisking... when it first checks it gives an error saying LONG FILE NAME or something that has been detected...

You can try this but cannot verify if it will work as it's the last cluster. Start with win98 floppy disc at A:\> type FDISK /MBR press enter
