pc line 7in photo frame

how do i trancefer photos from computer to photo frame.leaflet says insert thumb drive to the usb port.what is this.the box states usb flash drive can be used.am new to computers so i dont want to go out buying stuff i dont need.welcom any help edward john.

Essentially the frame will come with very little in built memory, so to have a reasonable number of pictures on it you will need further memory, in you instruction booklet the types of memory that are compatable should be listed e.g a thumb/pen flash memory drive. Photos are copied to these usb drives in the same way as you copy files to any drive. Most frames may also use one or more of the memory cards used by digital cameras - In fact looking at the pcworld site the pcline frame accepts SD/MMC/CF/MD/MS cards.
The usb cable may be used to transfer from the pc to the frame inbuilt or additional memory.
