I have checked for any viruses using the latest AVG 6.0 + latest update. I have also checked for any ad-ware using Ad-aware 6.0. Both times the machine was clean. This is an intermitant but regular problem. That is to say that I cannot say that I am using a particular program (ie Grabit or Servant Salamander or Internet Explorer) when the system re-sets itself.

Maybe the connection to the system is loose?

I had this problem before, and just found that it was because the cable wasn't properly in.
