hello..a few minutes ago my pc switched its self off,or restarted.then came back on???.any idea why.many thanks,mikewin xp
do you have 'power surge protection' strip (extension sockets) from the mains electric? Was there a thunderstorm going on locally?Did the pc throw up any error messages after it restarted?
Right-click on My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab. Under Startup & Recovery click Settings. Under System Failure unctick the box in front of Automatically restart.The next time you should get an error message on a blue screen. Post that here.
