For some unknown reason- hence this posting- my pc clock/date suddenly jumped back in time to Jan 1st 2002, although the clock was correct in the time of day!
What would cause that?
PC only 2yrs or so old. Win Me.
Ran a Virus scan only this morning & all ok!
Thanks.

May be a battery failure. For the moment correct it, then wait and see what it shows after a night's sleep.

Unlikely to cause real trouble, only annoyance and if it is the battery it might be an easy one to replace
