I have an Anthlon XP 2000 with aSIS 735 chipset,NVIDIA GFORCE MX440 video card. 512Ram running windows 2000. From New, the bus frequency was set at 100MHz giving it a processing speed of 1250 MHz,but after a reinstall due to a virus, I asked for the bus frequency to be set at 133MHZ. Testing it in the shop for a few minutes, the machine worked OK but using it at home & after 30 mins the screen freezed What is wrong and how can I rectify this bearing in mind I am not an expert
Thanks in advance

If it only runs for about 30 mins, it could be a cooling problem, CPU fan or Graphic card fan not working properly.

click here to download speedfan, it will tell you the temperature of your proc/memory/motherboard, dont know if it covers graphic card fan as my paltry 32mb tnt2 doesnt have a fan.

good luck
