Hi everybody

Having major problems with my PC it crashes without warning and then reboots. I have looked in the Event Viewer and the source at the time always states "side by side".

When looking at the properties the following messges are there.

Generate Activation Context failed for C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\x86_Microsoft.VC80.MFC_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.163_x-ww_39049d00\MFC80U.DLL.

Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC could not be found and Last Error was The referenced assembly is not installed on your system.

Any PC genius got any idea what is casuing my problems??

Thanks

Raymond

Looks like some Visual C++ program issue. Were you using anything like that?

Thanks Guys.

I have tried the above and as yet I haven't had any more crashes.

I will keep my fingers crossed.
