PC Case

I have had no reply to my thread placed in the other room so decided to come here. I'm looking for a case that is spacious, and will accomodated at least 4 5.25 inch drive bays and 2 of the smaller ones, preferably more. Also I would like the case to be able to accommodate more fans than usual as my system is overheating much of time, despite cpu and gpu coolers, and special cables. Any places to go would be helpful.

P.S have gone to overclock.co.uk, and other specialised sites, only found stylish cases, looking for something practical.

i have a blue chieftec case, stylish and practical. If you like you can mod it even more.

I have 4 5.25" bays, 2 externaly accessible 3.5" bays, 6 internal 3.5" bays in the form of 2 removable cages that can accomadate 3 drives each.

i have 2 fans bottom front sucking in, one side fan sucking in just over the AGP card, and two top rear blowing out. However, if you want the 2 fans sucking in at the front bottom then you have to sacrifice 1 drive cage into which the fan will fit.

I use decent slightly modded CPU cooler, and have clocked my P4 2.4 to 2.8Ghz and runs at a temp of 36/38C when clocked and 32C when at unclocked.

It seems as though I would need to invest in a full tower as those are the only ones which have enoguh 5.25 inch drive bays, but, the cables that I have will not be long enough, what does one do about that. Oh and thanks for all the help so far.

"the cables that I have will not be long enough, what does one do about that"

Buy longer ones. A minor problem!
