Can anybody tell me the difference between these two ram sticks. I'm looking to upgrade an old pc with new ram.
Thanx in advance!

Anybody not know?

Space Aware,

The difference is speed. You'll do no harm by using PC133 ram in a pc that takes PC100, but the reverse is not true.

Felix

FelixTCat Hello again!
Thanx for the reply!

Can I assume that pc133 is faster?

Space Aware,

It will only be faster on a motherboard which is designed to take both memory types.

As I said, PC100 will not work at all in a motherboard designed to work with PC133 memory; similarly, if the motherboard is designed to work with PC100 memory, PC133 will run at PC100 speed.

Regards,

Felix
