Can someone help me with the following as I am not very pc wise.

Every one wants you to use a password and/or username, but how do you
remember them unless you use the same one over and over. They recomend you change them often too.
I know you can have them remembered but this is a family pc and I need some
secure way of keeping info from kids ect. it must be hackproof too.

Regards oxy. or should it be **************** lol

There are a few ways. One of them is to use the os w2k, which is good for networking and at keeping security tight within those networks. So each family member has admin rights within each section and no one can get in without the admin password. Maybe hackers can get in but they can get into the most secure places.

There is a fabulous little program called Roboform. It can store a variety of passwords, recognise when you navigate to a page that requires a particular password, fill-in forms, etc, etc. It can even generate a secure password on rquest.

You can protect all of your passwords by a single 'master' password, to keep them safe from curious kids.

Go to click here - the free version is all you need.
