Password recovery trial software

  Kinkas 14:54 09 Oct 2005

I have been trying to open an old yet very important word document.

When I try I get "Incorrect Password or invalid path". Once and once only I got "File is corrupted".

I have tried to find some trial software but all the trial stuff won't go to 6 characters.

Does anyone know of a trial program that
A. Lets a techno cripple like me work it
B. Covers up to six characters
C. The software actually works

I am in need of this file but funds are very tight at this point, otherwise I would have paid to have it done.

Can anyone help on a one off occasion as I have taken steps to ensure a repeat can never happen.

Is the file on your hard drive?

If no one can suggest a free alternative (I don't know of any, off-hand) and the file isn't corrupt, or confidential, I have a program (not a crack program) that is excellent at finding passwords on Word documents. You can email to me if you wish.
