password protection

hey i have alot of work files that are very important and i would like to know how to put a password on a floppy disk as i lost hundreds of pounds when my 12 year old son opened it and deleted it by accident but to ensure it dosent happen again i would like to know how to pasword protect a floppy disk please and thanks for the help guys

Use win zip and select password protect....although it is easy to delete password protected files. I would suggest that you have 2 copies and ensure one is hidden.

and as well as what GANDALF <|:-)> has said, you should also "write-proof" the floppy disk... Just move the tab located at the bottom-right of the floppy disk (looking at the back that is) so that there is a whole there instead of the whole filled by the tab... Simply move the tab back to edit the contents of the floppy disk...
