I use a shared PC at work and was wondering if there is any way or program where i can password pretect an entire folder? For instance the My Documents folder? havent found anyway to do it in windows was wondering if anyone knows of a program that does it? basically want to end up where if anyone double clicks the folder they have to enter a password before it opens.

What version of Windows?

If you are running Windows XP or Windows 2000, then you can make the folder(s) "private" and stop other users from accessing it.

If you can't do this (if you haven't got Windows XP or 2k or the system doesn't need/have "user accounts" setup onto it) then use something like "7-Zip" (click here) which is completely free, but you will have to add the files into a "archive2 and password protect that. But you will have to keep extracting the fil(s) you wish to use and archiving them and deleting them all the time.....
