Partitions, what size?...

I've had my new PC for a month now, and made three partitions on the Hard Drive: C-160 gig, and J & K 100 gigs each, using Acronis.

I never really thought about wasted space due to NTFS. What would be the best sizes for partitions on a 360 gig HD?

Cheers, Whiz...

There is no "best size" - use what ever suits the way you work and organise your data and backups best.

that you can lose up to 40% of the space if you get it wrong, due to the cluster size. There is supposed to be optimum partition size, but I can't remember where I saw it (may even have been in PCA)!

Cluster size issues don't really apply to NTFS - they applied principally to FAT32.
