I have often seen requests for a free partitioning tools on this site.I have come across this Linux Tool QTParted which runs from a bootable CD that appears to do the trick.click here and choose the LiveCD download. It is an ISO image that can then be burned to CD.

Yes and it worked fine resizing a FAT32 partition.
Most XP comps are on NTFS does it work with that. Not for me I use Acronis DiskDirector suit10
Yes it does work with NTFS.I use Partition Magic but my posting is in response to requests for free utilities.
