I have just run my free AVG anti virus scan for my computer, running XP Home. First line of scan results says 'Partition Table (MBR) reading error' What does this mean? My computer appears to be running normally, so what is the problem?
I'm afraid I only have a restore disc, so I can't do as you suggest.
I don't know about VXDs, sorry to be so dim, so I'm fairly sure I didn't disable any.
I've found that AVG 'freezes' late in it's scan - I guess I'll have to look for an alternative program, any suggestions? I'm running a paid version of AVG anti spyware by the way, could this cause a clash?
