Partition Removal

My Old Work Laptop Has A Boot Menu Which Gives Me The Option Of A Work Side And A Personal Side.
I Would Like To Remove This. I Think It Is Just A Partition, As There Seems To Be Only The One Drive (Drive c). It Runs Windows 98, And Unfortunately I Was Never Given A Recovery Disk.
I Am Worried That I Will Lose The Operating System If I Make Any Changes That Require Me To Re-Format The Drive. I Would Be Greatful Of Any Advice On This Problem?

Windows would see a seperate partition as a in "My Computer" you would see two hard drives eg C and D even though there is only one physical drive.

If you are showing only the C drive then whatever stup is used it is not partitioned.
