Partition Image

Hello all, the thing i would like to know when one buys a new PC there is a recovery programme/image on a partition, can you shed any light of how this is done please, it is possibly straight forward but i would like to know

Not sure what you mean, a new PC will usually come with either a full operating system disc such as Windows7, a recovery disc, or a partition containing a recovery image which will have been pre loaded.Usually it will take upp about 9gb of the Hard drive and will put the PC back to factory settings if initiated.

The Recovery CD can activate the Recovery Image on another Partition. It can be a Hidden Partition, though Medion just put it on the Recovery Partition.
