HI,

I have got dual 80Gig drives in my computer and want to RAID them so one is a backup copy of the other.

Its running XP, got a 2Ghz Processor and 512Mb RAM

How would I go about doing a RAID?

Thanks
Sam

Does your motherboard support RAID, if not you would need to buy a RAID card.

I'm Afraid i can only find out this about the motherboard:

Board: eveshamvale
Bus Clock: 166 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 05/05/2003

Is that enough?

Thanks
Sam

No I'm afraid not, if you have a manual it will tell you there. If you don't have a manual check under CONTROL PANEL, SYSTEM, HARDWARE, DEVICE MANAGER and it would probably be under OTHER DEVICES. It would say RAID CONTROLLER.
Other way of checking download SIW click here it should tell you, if not it will at least tell you more about the motherboard and then you can look it up.
