I am asking on behalf of a friend who as just bought this camera and asked me where they could find a good cheap card for the camera. They didn't know what type of card they needed. I think is is a SD card. If so I could give them 2 64MB Could you give me your advice please?

I didn't get anywhere with that link. It didn't say what type of card it uses. My card just says SD

Sorry, my mistake.

Scroll down about half way. It doesn't mention 64MB cards, probably because you wouldn't fit many pics on one.

I've got an FS15 - it says can use 8MB to 2GB SD cards and 4GB to 32GB SDHC cards, or MulyiMediaCards for stills only. I'm guessing it's the same.

On that link, it DOES mention 64MB cards for use in my camera!!

Somewhere on Panasonic's website, there'll be a copy of the FS10 instruction manual, I just can't find it.

Thank you very much. Looks as if it does use SD cards. Do you know the difference between SDHC and SD means? I will close this link. Thank You.

HC stands for high capacity, above 2GB I think. They also come in different speeds, mine is rated 15MB/s. I've no idea if that's fast or slow - it works OK for movies.
