Loads on google but this reply is worrying
Thanks for your replies. I emailed Panasonic yesterday and have received this reply.

To clarify, the U80 that has been displayed is a self-diagnostic fault code, requiring attention by a qualified engineer. This is not an inherent fault with the product but a guide for the engineer to know where, within the product, he should seek the cause of the problem.
