'Page unavailable' 'dns error'

  Davy 43 18:04 27 May 2006

Hi everyone,

I've been trying to access a website for the last few days, but keep getting the bog standard 'Page unavailable' message. All other sites are fine, just this one, I know the site is ok, as neighbour can access it ok.
Can someone please point me in the right direction.

Many Thanks in advance.

Can you post a link to the site inquestion.

This might help click here

This might also help click here or you may need to get proxy settings from your ISP.

Nothing sinister, The site is Yorkshire Building Society ybs.co.uk.
Got on a couple of days ago when it froze, tried re-booting but still couldn't get on.I have a laptop & pc, both with XP Pro on a wireless network.

Nothing wrong with the website, try flushing the dns cache as in my link

If you are using a router try switching it off for 10 minutes. Worked for me with a Netgear router when I couldn't access PCA site.
