Page icon

I have a Domain name which is forwarded to a Piczo site. Is it possible to have a page icon with this set-up?

That is, if that is the correct term - I want to have a small icon that would appear in the address bar, where the browser icon 'e' is in Internet Explorer.

I don't know your set up but under normal circumstances it's fairly straightforward to do.I googled favicon and this is the first one I came to - give it a go click here

That looks promising. I'll try first thing in the morning, thanks.

OK, I can create the icon but I don't have a folder to upload it to on Piczo. My Domain host needs a URL for the icon. Is there a way round this? My neighbour has webspace, could I use that if he uploaded it and provided a URL?

I think you'll find that the favicon.ico file can only be located within the root directory of your website.

And not someone elses website?

CM is correct. It can only go in the same location as the index.html file and certainly not on any other server or domain.
