I switched from dial up to cable. Now im having lots of problems. Error--page cannot be displayed--cannot find server etc. Also its affecting my mail. I called tec support they did some configurations it worked for about two hours then back same thing Also pages are v slow to load if at all. To get here even-page cannot be displayed error. I clicked on-dispay net connections and it opened Thanks Femme
I sometimes get this problem on my cable connection, it usually occurs when there is lots of traffic. for instance, if you live in an area where there are lots of offices or schools who also use the same cable connection, they will usually connect to the internet all at the same time during the day to get emails etc, Eg. 8-9.30, 12.05-1.00 and 5.00-6.30. This is when you will have the most problems, the server gets overloaded.
Thankyou Golf you are right I have little trouble in the early morning and in evening Perhaps it is the traffic but so far Im not impressed with my cable. Dial up really was working better if you can believe it Femme
