Everything is working fine except i have lost the ability to scroll using the little round thing inbetween the left and right mouse button just below the keypad. My husband uses this all the time and has withdrawal symptons now. Please please help and tell me how i can restore this to working order, thanks in advance.

sorry, is this a mouse or is it a scrolling device on the laptop itself? It's not very clear from your post. Either way I'd suggest reinstalling the drivers for it.
