Packard Bell Easy Start Button

I have just reformatted a Packard Bell Easy One Silver 7251N laptop, i am trying to get the dvd/cd and email button working, i have visited the Packard Bell website and downloaded ESB2XP 1143 and ESB 1400 drivers, the drivers do not self install, where do i install them? Instructions from Packard Bell say to install them into "keyboard" i have tried this with no success, anyone out there had this problem or know of a solution, Packard Bell support have referred me to "Tech Guys" which is a chargeable support line and offered no help.

See "Upgrading drivers for pre-existing device" - you'll need to highlight the item under the Keyboard heading in Device Manager

Have tried it again and directed the installation towards where the driver is and it reports that "this location does not hold information about the hardware"
