P4 Retail has TIM, is it good?

Hi all

pretty much simple really..

i'm used to buying OEM stuff and usually get some decent branded TIM and like to make sure i get good coating of it.

However, this build required a retail CPU.

I noticed that it already has some TIM on the HSF. Is this good enough? or should i remove it and put some decent stuff on.

ok i know they wouldn't have sold it like that if it wasn't good enough, but i just like to be sure. The retail ones i used to get just supplied the TIM for you to put onyour self or had a pad on them.

Just checking!

Sorry didnt fully answer your question
I beleive certain P4 s run quite hot so anything that will assist in lowering temps will be a good thing.
There have been tests done that indicate using either of the ones mentioned would be an advantage, also I think the Sinetsu takes a little while longer to take effect,so if you can monitor the temps may be able to see how good or not so good it is.
