I have a GA-K8NS motherboard with a 1.8G athlon 64 processor the bios can change the clock speed from 200 to 300 is this make a diferrence.

If your question reflects your knowledge of overclocking then you need to do a lot of reading before you procede any further.click here for starters ,and a Google search for "overclocking" or "how to overclock a computer" should keep you busy for a while.

Overclocking your pc can give a useful performance boost,but it can just as easily leave you with a broken computer.You really must make sure you have a good idea what you are doing.

wise words from gudgulf make sure you know exactly what you are doing first whilst you can get a boost you could also break your machine an expensive mistake if it goes wrong
