Just for fun i thought I would try to overclock my CPU by just a small amount. When i use CPUFSB it just crashes as soon as I try to set the frequency, so i thought i would alter the FSB on startup but that part of the menu will not let me change the settings.

So is it possible or not?

I have a ECS K7S6A with a Athlon 1600XP I have been to 1900 for a fortnight no extra fans no boot errors or anything it flew but I have dropped it back to 1700 which I have run since trying the above temps did not go up by no more than about 2 or 3 degrees I run at about 37c just 256 of 2100 memory. I just upped the frequency it over clocked Graphics also as it's a Banshee PCI card

click here and download and instal fuzzy logic 4. the msi overclocking utility, it takes away the pain.
