Outlook XP - drive A request

  U10 22:28 21 Aug 2003

Can someone tell me why for no apparent reason Outlook XP tells me there is no disc in drive A and asks me to put one there. The request seems to occur at irregular intervals. Can I stop it doing this or is there a reason for it? Thanks.

at some point you've saved an email to a floppy disk and Outlook is doing a floppy 'seek' to ensure that it's there.

If that is the case, find the floppy, open the mail in Outlook and save it back to the hard drive.

If none of that applies, come back and we'll think again.
