Outlook reminders

  Currantbun 23:40 25 Aug 2008

Hi there.

Whenever i open Outlook i get reminders from my calendar, most of which i cannot dismiss (cancel) or even open. This is annoying as they just build up and up.

Anyone have any ides as to how i can close these reminders??

Open the calendar right click the occurrence select open, you will then have a choice of either open this occurrence or open this series. Once opened take the tick out of 'Reminder' which is about half way down the open window.

Thanks recap

Just one question, where is 'Occurrence'?. I'm using Office 2007 and i've looked everywhere (well, obviously not if i can't find it).

Sorry Currantbun, it is the actual appointment you have for each day.

This works in earlier versions (pre-2007) of Outlook.

Click on Start, Run and type in Outlook /cleanreminders. It is intended to clean out reminders.

Give it a try.

Tried that but 'Outlook /cleanreminders' is not recognised, is that it exactly??

"is that it exactly??"

Yes, and it's for Windows XP and Office XP (otherwise known as 2002 ???).
